The Fijians made themselves heard at Twickenham during the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup with a traditional war dance called the Cibi. The Cibi is generally performed before or after a battle. It came to prominence in the rugby field in 1939 when it was performed by the Fiji national rugby team before the match.
