'Friendly' octopus won't let go of diver's hand

An amazing video has emerged of an octopus wrapping its tentacles around a diver's hand.

The footage, shot last month off the coast of Tenerife, Spain, shows the octopus carefully approaching the diver after having "eyed her out" she said.

"I still wonder what it wanted to express to me," the diver wrote online.

"I have always been fascinated by octopuses, their intelligence and their strange anatomy."
