Uttar Pradesh’s Faizabad district will be known as Ayodhya after the temple town that is home to the Ram temple, said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday to a roaring applause at a Diwali event in Ayodhya. The announcement comes days after Yogi Adityanath promised some good news to devotees of Lord Rama that his party leaders had indicated, was a reference to a huge statue of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
