Peter Griffin has done some pretty bad things, so it's nice to see him get what he deserves once in a while. For this list, we’ll be looking at some of the times the family patriarch received a healthy dose of karma for his bad actions.

00:43 Losing All His Bones

00:45 In this somewhat off-brand episode, the show delivers three mini-episodes based on fan

00:54 In one of them, No Bones About It, Peter gets three wishes from a genie.

00:59 And when he nearly gets into a fight on the bus, he uses one of them to wish he has no

01:11 He quickly realizes this is a mistake when he becomes a burden on his family and is only

01:16 useful as a Hollywood stuntman.

01:19 This one is kind of a layup to say that Peter got what he deserved, he literally wished

01:24 for it.

01:25 "I won't be a stand-up comic, I'll be more like an amorphous blob comic.

01:29 I gotta write that one down!"

01:31 Number 9.

01:32 Kicked Out of New Quahog

01:34 When Peter is the only one in town to prepare for, or even believe in the apocalypse that

01:39 Y2K will bring on, he becomes founder and mayor of New Quahog.

01:49 Of course, being Peter, he runs the new town like an idiot, assigning people jobs randomly

01:53 rather than based on any kind of skill or merit or need.

01:57 Naturally, things descend into madness pretty quickly, and Peter is to blame.

02:11 It's hard to feel bad for him when the townspeople inevitably revolts and kick him out of his

02:15 own town.

02:23 Number 8.

02:25 Losing His Eyesight

02:26 When Quagmire inadvertently saves the life of a woman having a heart attack, Peter becomes

02:31 jealous of all the attention he gets.

02:43 In an effort to become famous like Quagmire, or Joe the hero cop, Peter decides to break

02:49 a world record.

02:50 And the one he chooses for whatever reason is to eat the most nickels.

02:58 Peter has never been the brightest guy out there, but he really should have seen this

03:03 one coming.

03:04 He gets nickel poisoning and loses his vision from his ridiculous attempt.

03:08 Peter has a lot of terrible things done to him throughout the series, but this one he

03:12 does to himself.

03:19 Number 7.

03:21 Wheelchair Fight

03:22 Peter and Lois open their own restaurant, which only becomes successful after Joe invites

03:26 his fellow friends with disabilities to eat there.

03:37 Peter, unhappy with the clientele, excludes them from the restaurant.

03:41 And they retaliate, resulting in a huge fight.

03:54 Literally.

03:55 A huge fight.

03:56 The officers and wheelchairs unite into a giant robot, eventually destroying the establishment

04:02 and leaving Peter injured.

04:07 Number 6.

04:26 Stuck to the Couch

04:28 Peter has always been lazy, but who knew his laziness could lead to actual physical harm?

04:34 When Peter spends an entire weekend binging TV, drinking beer, and eating junk food in

04:38 his underpants, he ends up getting stuck to the couch in his own grossness.

04:49 Something like this could only happen to Peter.

04:52 His slovenly behavior is clearly unmatched by any other.

05:00 As if that isn't bad enough, refusing to remove the couch from his back, he falls down

05:04 the stairs, is knocked unconscious, and finds himself in an elevator with God talking about

05:09 where he'll spend eternity based on how he treats his family.

05:17 But more on that in a moment.

05:19 Number 5.

05:21 Getting Beaten Up by Lois

05:23 If this episode were any indication of where Peter might spend his afterlife, he'd definitely

05:27 be heading down in God's elevator.

05:30 Peter historically is a bad husband to Lois and a bad father to his kids.

05:40 In fact, he belittles and insults Lois so much that she takes up martial arts in order

05:44 to regain some of her own strength and power.

05:55 And when Peter even takes advantage of this, she ends up beating him up because she just

05:59 can't take it anymore.

06:01 And it spreads to the whole family.

06:03 We're not condoning domestic violence by any means, but we can't help but think that

06:08 Peter had this coming.

06:15 Number 4.

06:16 Fired From The Pawtucket Brewery

06:18 Peter's general level of incompetence spreads to every aspect of his life.

06:23 Nevertheless, he somehow manages the promotion at work to forklift operator.

06:32 Surely there was someone more qualified after the previous operator retired.

06:36 Given his new power, Peter wastes no time in abusing it.

06:39 He uses the forklift to entertain himself and his friends.

06:42 He pushes things way too far when he misuses the forklift to save a beached whale and ends

06:47 up gruesomely killing it instead.

06:55 But the final nail in the coffin is actually when he accidentally crashes the forklift

06:59 into a company meeting.

07:01 Peter's eventually rehired, but it's honestly a wonder he holds onto his job at the brewery

07:05 for as long as he does.

07:10 Number 3.

07:12 Having His Fingers Blown Off

07:14 This one is no one's fault but his own.

07:17 Peter is playing with fireworks that Quagmire brought back home from a trip to Florida.

07:25 Let's be honest, Peter might be oblivious, but we all know where this one is going.

07:32 He basically strings together enough M80s to equal a full stick of dynamite.

07:36 And in his excitement, Peter waits too long to set the fireworks while reciting his creation's

07:40 long and elaborate name, blowing off all the fingers on one of his hands.

07:48 Luckily, he's able to get them reattached, but that should teach him not to play with

07:54 fireworks.

07:58 Number 2.

08:00 Getting Shot By Quagmire

08:08 While on a camping trip with his buddies, Peter shoots Quagmire in the arm on purpose.

08:15 Naturally, this upsets Quagmire, and Peter refuses to take any accountability whatsoever

08:24 for his actions.

08:26 Seeing that this is only the latest in a long line of bad behavior from Peter and their

08:29 friendship, Quagmire wants to even the score to make things right again.

08:41 After a pretty hilarious argument about the whole thing, Quagmire shoots Peter in the

08:45 head.

08:46 Arguably, this isn't a use of equal force, but we can't really fault Quagmire for putting

08:51 Peter in his place.

09:11 Number 1.

09:13 Losing Lois As we previously stated, Peter is infamous

09:17 for how bad of a husband he is to Lois.

09:24 In this episode, he goes back in time to relive his youth, and in skipping his first date

09:29 with Lois, he wakes up to a new life without her in the future.

09:33 You'd think Peter would know better than to neglect Lois when only a few episodes before,

09:38 she cheats on him when he abandons her to spend time with Bill Clinton.

09:56 In the end, things, of course, go back to normal, but if Peter were stuck in that new

10:00 reality where Lois is married to Quagmire, we would have no sympathy for him at all.
