Inverness Cathedral pet blessing service

Inverness Cathedral invited animal lovers to bring their four-legged friends to a blessing service during the weekend.

00:09 Dozens of dogs attended the ceremony and one inquisitive ferret made an unlikely friend.

00:23 And this happy pup was thrilled to be a part of all the fun.

00:27 All of the animals were blessed during the service and I think it's fair to say that

00:31 they were thrilled about all the fuss.

00:50 Trevor and sister Bruce and Erica soaked up all the attention during the service.

00:59 While some were keen to sing a few hymns of their own.

01:06 I was even able to jump at the opportunity to have a wee cuddle with the guinea pig Cuddles.

01:20 Overall I think it's fair to say that the service was a huge success with many pet owners
