Storms in the Pacific Northwest could cause travel delays this Thursday

Most of the U.S. will have smooth sailing for travel conditions on Nov. 2, but returning storms in the Northwest may cause some issues.

00:02 Isles over the last several months.

00:03 Now here in the US,

00:05 if you're doing any traveling tomorrow,

00:06 I'll tell you what.

00:08 If you are east of the Rockies here folks,

00:10 tomorrow you are a OK.

00:11 There's not much going on weather wise.

00:13 It will have some cold cold

00:15 air out there in the morning.

00:16 Some of us will have to scrape the

00:18 windshield perhaps in even portions

00:20 of the southeast but other than

00:21 the eastern Great Lakes where there

00:23 could be some issues around Buffalo,

00:25 we're going to be looking at really

00:27 just the Pacific Northwest as as

00:28 a main player here for travel delays.

00:30 There'll be some delays possible

00:32 whether it's at the airports or on

00:34 the roadways in places like Seattle.

00:36 And also Portland and also into the

00:38 interior portions of the Northwest,

00:39 where it's cold enough for some snow

00:41 tomorrow in a place like Yellowstone

00:43 National Park, the Grand Tetons in

00:45 Wyoming and Helena, Montana.

00:46 It's going to be a chilly rain

00:48 for you tomorrow as well.

00:50 There meantime,

00:50 across the Southwest.

00:51 Hey, we can't complain here.

00:53 We know we've had some strong winds

00:55 recently in and around Los Angeles,

00:57 so we've had some wildfire issues

00:59 because of it with fanning the flames,

01:01 but those winds are diminishing,

01:02 so that's good news.

01:04 Meantime,

01:04 on Thursday across the South Central US,

01:06 we don't have any problems in Dallas,

01:08 New Orleans, Houston looking good too.

01:10 Also Chicago, a big travel hub.

01:11 You don't have any problems here.

01:13 It's going to be a nice day for you

01:15 for your Thursday and here's really

01:17 the only trouble spot in the Northeast.

01:19 It's going to be coming off the

01:21 eastern and southern shores of

01:23 Lakes Erie and Ontario.

01:24 There could be some problems

01:25 in a place like Buffalo.

01:27 the snow.
