Hundreds of Santas run for vulnerable children in Darwin

From the North Pole to the Northern Territory hundreds of Santas have suited up for the annual Santa Fun Run. Without a snowman in sight, Santas swapped out the chilly winter for the heat and humidity of Darwin, all for a good cause.

00:30 So we've been training croc running for about 4 weeks now, we've been doing intervals 3

00:35 times a week, now crocs both in sports mode and in our casual set ups.

00:39 Now we might be in the Northern Territory but there is a little piece of the North Pole

00:45 A zero degree ice bath, a much needed relief for those Sanders who have taken part today.

00:59 providing children with disabilities one on one swimming lessons.

01:08 I was very aware of that from Tani, my own daughter.

01:16 She was a world champion swimmer, I know how difficult it was to walk that walk.
