00:52 While This Is Me Now marks Lopez's first new album since 2014's AKA, it also marks the

01:00 culmination of her journey in the more than two decades since her 2002 album, This Is

01:07 Me Then, dropped.

01:09 The film, directed by Dave Myers, promises to include, quote, "impressive choreography,

01:16 star-studded cameos, costumes, sets, and blockbuster-worthy visuals."

01:22 Although an astonishing vivid spectacle, the film is ultimately a heartfelt ode to JL's

01:28 journey of self-healing and everlasting belief in fairytale endings.

01:33 Of course, this includes Lopez's love story with husband Ben Affleck, who after getting

01:38 engaged and splitting in the early 2000s, rekindled their romance in 2021.

01:44 In January, the singer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she opened up about the new album

01:50 and how the couple getting back together was, quote, "kind of like a miracle."

01:55 "Album I wanted to talk about and the song because the album, can you say what the album

02:01 "It's called This Is Me Now.

02:02 So I did an album 20 years ago that was, obviously, that had a song called Dear Ben on it that

02:07 was about the time that me and Ben were together then.

02:11 And I got very inspired when we got back together.

02:14 It was kind of like a miracle and something that neither one of us really ever thought

02:20 And I went into the studio and I wrote an album in like two months.
