Overtourism at the Acropolis: How is Greece handling booming visitor numbers?

Visitor numbers to the attraction were up 70 per cent last month, giving a taste of what is to come this summer without crowd control.

00:38 the wait definitely and the amount of people that are here

00:41 was definitely a little bit overwhelming.

00:46 And we bought our tickets online,

01:00 so we didn't have to wait in the ticket line,

01:01 however, getting in with the FastPass,

01:03 you still had to wait about 10, 15 minutes,

01:06 but the worst part of it was at the top

01:08 when you're trying to funnel into one line,

01:11 you lost your people, you know,

01:13 you had to wait probably like 20 minutes at the top

01:15 to just go and see something,

01:16 and there's a lot of people there

01:17 kinda interrupting your view, so,

01:20 beautiful as it is, definitely was a bit overwhelming.
