Elmer’s Big Parade Blackpool will see 34 large Elmer sculptures inspired by David McKee’s iconic patchwork elephant in key locations across Blackpool, each featuring a unique design created by artists from across the country.

00:10 Well it's the big reveal, so we're waiting to see what all these artists have come up with.

00:15 Obviously it's going to have our branding logo on it, so yeah, it's more intrigue to see what everyone's been up to.

00:21 The anticipation's starting to build now and we're really looking forward to seeing the designs for Elmer and the trail

00:27 and then deciding which one we'd like to vote for.

00:37 It's been something that's building up with excitement, so we're looking forward to seeing what people have come up with

01:23 People's interpretations of Blackpool and an art combined made it really difficult,

01:31 but we managed to get, eventually, to a final five and fingers crossed we get the one we want.

01:40 Really excited for the town. There's some amazing artwork on display and it's great to see so many local artists as well,

01:50 which is always nice because we're a close-knit community, so if we can make it about some of our local artists as well, then even better.
