Marcos appoints Rommel Francisco Marbil as new PNP chief

President Marcos has appointed Police Major General Rommel Francisco Marbil as the new chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP).  Marbil is the 30th chief of the PNP, replacing Police General Benjamin Acorda Jr. who ended his term with his retirement on March 31.
