Londoners can’t wait for summer in the capital

We speak to Londoners about spring and what they love about London in the summer

00:00 Well, it is officially spring and the clocks have changed but it doesn't really feel like

00:08 it here in London. In fact, it really kind of still feels like winter. Well, today I've

00:14 headed to Battersea Park to search for signs of spring, see if I can spot any blossoms

00:19 and speak to London to find out if they're excited for some good weather and summertime

00:36 It's been quite a long winter. It's nice that it's getting darker later now. Yeah, summer

00:43 in London's great, especially when the sun's out because everyone just goes out and about,

00:47 goes to the pub, has a drink outside. Yeah, yeah.

00:51 There's so many sights in London to see and as you say, going into summer, the weather's

00:57 so much better. You can actually move around a lot more and do more things without having

01:01 to be limited by the winter factors. So, it's lovely.

01:05 Yeah, definitely just go out and go for a picnic with my friends and just don't want
