Are locals struggling with the cost of London?

We speak to Londoners about how expensive they think the city is.

00:00 We're kind of in a cost of living crisis throughout the whole country at the moment,

00:04 but London specifically, do you think it's an expensive city?

00:07 Over the last few years I've noticed that it is considerably more expensive

00:13 compared to other cities in the UK,

00:16 especially with bills going up and things like that.

00:20 So yeah, I do think it is quite expensive to live here and to go out in London.

00:25 Just living expenses, but that's not just London, that's everywhere in the UK at the moment

00:29 because we're going through a crisis as a country, so that's one thing.

00:34 The other thing would just be transport, because transport's okay around here,

00:39 but again the prices are way too high for what they are, what they should be.

00:44 I think so, but compared to my country, I don't know, because the salary is higher,

00:50 so I think it's quite fair because if you earn more, you definitely will spend.

00:58 like it cost more.
