00:00 It's not as hard as you think. Once you've done one you go, "Oh, that wasn't too bad."

00:03 If you do find one, pop it in the pillowcase, keep it warm. In the car it's important to be

00:09 quiet. So just turn the radio down, tell the kids to be quiet, and you can either take it home and

00:16 call WISE and we'll come pick it up from you. It's better to be at your place than anywhere else,

00:21 on the side of the road still, and or you can drop it off to a vet and the vets will call us.

00:27 The problem with calling WISE to say, "Hey, there's a dead kangaroo on the side of the road,

00:31 can you go check it?" is that we're all volunteers and we're all working. Some of us are caring for

00:35 lots of other animals. It's really hard for us to then get like this two today up on the motorway.

00:41 I can't get there. So yeah, if you could just check it. Oh, please, please check the pouch.

00:49 At least just check whether it's alive. If it's dead, pull it off the road because other animals

00:55 will come down and eat it and they'll get hit by cars. So even if you can just pull it off the road,
