I think it definitely could be improved a lot more.
00:03
Basically with timekeeping, sometimes they don't turn up, which is annoying,
00:10
especially if you've got an appointment to go somewhere.
00:12
Yeah, it could be improved. It's alright, it's okay.
00:18
But yeah, there's always room for improvement, I think.
00:22
Me, I'm old age, so I have my bus pass.
00:27
So I don't complain about the money, but it's a time-wasting, wasting the time.
00:36
The rain or...
00:38
Oh, every day, every week when I do the shopping, I wait in line over there.
00:44
On X, many Bristolians have discussed that there have been large delays due to roadworks,
00:53
but has this affected their use of public transport?
00:57
I stopped using public transport when my husband had his strokes, and that was 2014.
01:01
When I have to go visit my daughter, and she lives in Brislington,
01:04
it's gone sometimes from a 45-minute journey to an hour and a half,
01:07
because all the roads to her are cut off because of roadworks,
01:11
especially waterworks or something like that, and it's for weeks.
01:14
And it puts more time in, it's like,
01:17
there really can be poverty to go over there today, but you have to, so...
01:20
Yeah, it's too much roadworks every other day.
01:22
Every time I go that way, there's another set of temporary lights, it's too much.
01:27
I use it when I can, yes.
01:29
If I go downtown, yes, I'll catch the bus, pay a five-year-old, eight-month-old day rider,
01:33
rather than pay like eight grand parking.
01:35
So, yeah, the city council's doing right, yeah, we've got...
01:38
We've been in love.
01:40
We've been in love with our cars the last 50 years.
01:42
And I can remember Mr Red Trousers.
01:45
You know, anybody that sticks their head above the carpet and has to go to the petrolheads
01:49
gets annihilated by the likes of Mr Clarkson and what have you.
01:54
But I'm afraid we're just a crowded little island like Singapore.
