Sydneysiders brace for a wet weekend

Sydneysiders are in for a wet weekend, with heavy rainfall expected across parts of NSW.

00:19 Now as we look towards the weekend ahead, we're also expecting another 100mm of rain

00:27 So my advice is if you're heading out for a footy match or an event, make sure you've

00:31 got your umbrella or a raincoat because it's set to be a wet one.

00:36 We're expecting between today and tomorrow around 35mm of rain but Sunday will be our

00:42 biggest day yet with up to 60mm of rain.

00:46 So as we start to make plans for the weekend, make sure that you've packed your rain gear

00:52 and also keep an eye out for any weather warnings from the Bureau of Meteorology.
