Arsenal's 'Invincibles': 20 years on

On May 15, 2004, Arsene Wenger's Gunners completed a legendary unbeaten Premier League campaign.

00:24 The hustle going through that '03-'04 season in Vincent Hall, that was something that I would be surprised.

00:36 So that is a remarkable achievement.

00:40 That last game of the season, I mean, we was 1-0 down half-time.

00:43 And you're thinking, "Come on, lads, we can't blow it at home."

00:46 Suddenly, you know, they turned it on in the second half and on we got a go after half-time.

00:51 And then Patrick, obviously, was such an important player for the team.

00:55 He pops up and gets the winning goal.

00:57 And then even then it doesn't sink in.

00:59 The most important thing is getting you hands on the trophy.

01:02 That amazing Invincibles, which has never got the credit it deserves.

01:06 He did it when the money was nothing like that.

01:08 And achieved it in a style which has never been recognised enough.

01:12 I mean, that is still the greatest achievement.

01:15 Only Preston North End in 1800 or whatever it was, managed it when they played 18 games.

01:22 For younger people, that was like the second team.

01:35 You know, you supported this team, but you liked Arsenal.

01:38 For the Fieras, for the Oranjeries, all that stuff, for the Bergkamps.

01:41 That season there, achievement by Arsenal was definitely one which inspired me to play a game of football.

01:47 Every time I conceded a goal, somebody else scored once or twice.

01:53 Yeah.

01:54 It was, I don't know how to describe it.

01:57 You never knew when you'd beat it.
