Hayes 'can't believe' Chelsea have won the WSL

Emma Hayes admits she's in shock that Chelsea have won the WSL given the injuries that they've suffered.

00:06We've had some big injuries this year, really bright. Trust you me, losing the

00:12volume of leadership we have at the back and up top, I think did take its toll,

00:16plus the transitioning of new players, young players and, you know, the

00:23diminishing role of some of the senior players. But that's why for me this is

00:28the best title, because we're not stupid. We know we weren't at our best,

00:33but for us to win a title? Wow. Like, I'm sorry, I don't think you guys realise how

00:40hard it is to win and win and win and win. Some of these teams don't change

00:43their teams or they're in the peak of their eras and they play a game a

00:49week. We don't. We've played significantly more games, if you look

00:54over the last five years, and I think it took its toll as well, plus Olympics,

00:58plus World Cup, plus Euros in terms of our senior players. But I almost can't

01:04believe we've won the title.
