Come with me as I take the bus to Anfield ahead of Taylor Swift’s sold out shows

00:00There will be no public parking available at Anfield Stadium for the

00:05Taylor Swift Eras tour. Anfield is a highly residential area therefore

00:09parking enforcement will be in operation on concert days. Luckily travelling by

00:15bus is fast, frequent and convenient with express services that will get you to

00:21and from Anfield and Liverpool City Centre in around 15 minutes and that's

00:26exactly what I'm going to do today. At Liverpool 1 bus station if you had to

00:31stand 4 you can get the number 26 Arriva bus service or at Queen Square bus

00:36station go to stand 5 and hop on the stagecoach number 14. I just think

00:41getting the bus is a great way to see the city too. You can see some fabulous

00:46sights on the way to Anfield. Look how happy I am there to get the top deck of

00:50the bus to myself. I'm sure it won't be the same on the show days.

00:55Alternatively the 917 Express shuttle bus service operates from commutation

01:00row in the city centre from 3.30 p.m. each show day. There'll be a dedicated

01:05fan support team based in Lyme Street station and commutation row 30 minutes

01:10before the first scheduled departure and gates opening. The concert bus will run

01:15as normal for all concerts between Sandhills station and Anfield as part of

01:19the shuttle bus service. If you'd rather take the train both Sandhills and

01:22Kirkdale stations on Mersey Rail's Northern line are less than a 30 minute

01:26walk from Anfield. With around 53,000 tickets sold for each night of Taylor

01:31Swift's Sellout Eras tour thousands of people expected to visit Liverpool over

01:35the three days. As with all major events Merseyside Police have been working

01:38closely with Liverpool Football Club and the City Council for months to assist in

01:43planning for the event. A variety of policing tactics will be used including

01:48highly visible police patrols and less visible measures such as playing

01:52clothes officers to ensure these concerts are a safe and enjoyable event

01:56for all involved.
