00:12Alor Gajah District Police Chief Superintendent Ashari Abusama reported that the police received

00:18information about the collision involving two sedans at 7.07 pm.

00:23Preliminary investigations revealed that the car which was travelling from Melaka to Alor

00:28Gajah crossed into the opposite lane and collided with the oncoming vehicle which was

00:33heading to Melaka.

00:35The driver of the car heading to Alor Gajah, 33-year-old factory operator Mohamed Arifin

00:41Abdullah Thani, died of severe head injuries while being treated at Alor Gajah Hospital.

00:47The 30-year-old female driver of the other car and her seven-month-old daughter sustained

00:51serious injuries while another passenger, a 24-year-old woman, suffered multiple injuries.

00:58All three were being treated at Melaka Hospital.
