00:00We will get to work straight away and you will see in the next few days

00:03announcements that show the incredible work and sense of purpose and the

00:06preparation that has gone into that. For instance in my area you will see

00:09investment decisions being made in the UK that would not have happened had

00:13there not been a change of government and the chaos of the past put to bed.

00:17So we know we can make a difference quickly. I know in everything that I do

00:21and the same is true for the new Chancellor of the Exchequer. The economy has to be

00:24stronger to deliver the revenue required to address those public service problems.

00:27But I think we have a mandate to do that and with that support from the

00:31public we can get to work straight away. People have long memories in politics.

00:35That's always been the case but I'm confident the positive achievements

00:38we'll be able to deliver for the next general election and whilst it seems

00:42quite early I hope we'll be able to say to people stick with the party that has

00:46turned the page on that chaos and given you the kind of country, political system

00:50and public services that you deserve.
