IOC defends allowing high testosterone women boxers to compete in Paris

The International Olympic Committee has allowed fighters disqualified from the world champion­ships to compete

00:08That remains the eligibility criteria which has been strictly applied.

00:15And just to remind everyone, as I said yesterday, that these athletes competed in Tokyo, they've

00:22been competing in boxing for a very, very long time.

00:24They've reached all the eligibility rules in terms of sex and age via their passports.

00:34Very little more I can add, that we are following the rules that were already in place for 2016

00:40and 2020.
