00:09birds it's the Ravens and the Eagles in the charm city in Baltimore where

00:14Philadelphia is a one-and-a-half point favorite total at 34 and uh-huh

00:20DRS earlier in the week when these preseason lines became available for

00:24week number one the Ravens were the favorite side correctly so Baltimore has

00:28been a dynasty in preseason football in the last decade or so a 24 game

00:35preseason win streak came to a close last year that dated back to 2016 under

00:41John Harbaugh who takes these preseason contests very seriously so why are the

00:47other birds that being the Eagles favored tonight on the road it used to

00:52be in the past couple years like how are you rating it sure if you are a

00:55franchise when the scoreboard is on the camera the clocks are like running you

01:00really care about the final score and apparently that's the case with the

01:02Baltimore Ravens because it's usually just supposed to be a coin flip in the

01:05preseason you don't really care about the game let's get some guys some burn

01:08put them on tape let's just see how they do and hopefully nobody gets injured but

01:12it's apparent that you don't win 20 plus preseason games in a row let alone like

01:15three games in a row without actually caring what that final score is are we

01:19saying that the Baltimore Ravens are scripting plays to make sure they put

01:22some in the best possible position no but sometimes it just goes as far to say

01:26is who are your quarterbacks here they get you have athletic guys that have

01:30played in the NFL before when the play breaks down they're going to be able to

01:34get first downs but now as you take a look obviously Lamar Jackson we're not

01:36gonna see him tonight Josh Johnson aging veteran quarterback

01:40Devin Leary rookie Emory Jones rookie you no longer have that like hey you

01:45know what the four preseason quarterbacks are going to play they've

01:48all played in the NFL and have experience and maybe that's the issue

01:50and also if you are just reading lines if you read it yesterday let's just say

01:55on the New England Patriots game that's ridiculous close to a touchdown just

01:58give me the points you saw the way that ended up there's a reason why these

02:01lines are moving particularly even in the preseason where maybe you're saying

02:05to yourself a team that never loses all of a sudden is an underdog against an

02:09NFL team of the Eagles they don't have a propensity to go out and dominate in the

02:12preseason and now they're the favorites that's a big swing here and there is

02:16something to that
