00:00This is W. D. Gann's original May Soybean Chart from 1948,
00:05and it proves conclusively that Gann used astrology.
00:09Here we have the sign for Jupiter,
00:12and here we have the sign for Jupiter.
00:15This line is Jupiter moving through the Zodiac,
00:18each degree up to 270 degrees, the Ingress Point.
00:25Ingress is where a planet crosses into the next sign,
00:28and Gann has marked that with a little cross and the line of the price level, 270 degrees.
00:35There's Mars trend line running up here.
00:38There are a lot of other astro markings on this chart,
00:41and I've included a little article that I've written on the CD for you.
00:50Gann said in his courses,
00:53The most important discovery he ever made was the squaring of the range.
00:58That is, if a stock made a high at 50 points,
01:02you would look to find another cycle 50 days away from that, 50 weeks or 50 months.
01:11Or if a stock made a low at 20,
01:13you would look for a cycle 20 days over 20 weeks or 20 months.
01:20And Gann was using that method on this chart.
01:25He's taken this price of 276,
01:29and he's marked on his chart,
01:31the day 7576, square of the range.
