My name is Megan Hamill and I'm the training manager at Pro Paramedics.
00:09
Pro Paramedics started in 1999 by my uncle John who was a paramedic.
00:15
Back then we were based in what was the Odyssey Arena and we started just purely as event
00:19
medical cover.
00:21
We started with two ambulances and have now grown to 130 staff with over 20 ambulances.
00:28
At Pro Paramedics we offer services such as event medical cover, we do private transfers
00:34
of patients as well as transfers of patients for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
00:39
We also do critical care services such as working in the GP out of hours, patient repatriations
00:45
and we do a whole body and range of first aid medical training.
00:48
At Pro Paramedics we cover a huge range of events across Northern Ireland.
00:53
We cover Balmoral Show, we cover all of the football events for IFA, we cover all of the
01:00
events for the big concert venues here, the SSE Arena, the Ulster Hall, the Waterfront
01:06
Hall, we also cover Downroyal Racecourse.
01:10
Pro Paramedics prides itself on raising the standards and being the industry leaders.
01:15
It's very important to Pro Paramedics in an industry that is not regulated for ambulance
01:19
companies that we provide the highest possible standard of event medical cover with highly
01:25
trained and skilled staff.
