00:00Jeep brings its legendary off-road heritage to the midsize pickup segment

00:04with a 2024 Gladiator. For this model year, the Gladiator receives several

00:10updates, including a new grille for improved cooling and a range of

00:13structural enhancements. Off-road, the Gladiator shines, but on-road, comfort

00:18can be compromised. The ride feels bouncy and steering is inconsistent. Towing can

00:23also be a challenge under certain conditions, but the Gladiator is never

00:26boring. With removable body panels, fun paint colors, and tons of customization,

00:31it stands out in a sea of conventional trucks. Our pick? The Gladiator Mojave.

00:36It's a speed fiend on the trail, offering almost all the rock-crawling capability

00:41of the Rubicon. Under the hood, the Gladiator comes with a 3.6-liter V6

00:46engine, producing 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual

00:53is standard with an eight-speed automatic available. Jeep has bolstered

00:56safety for the 2024 Gladiator, adding standard side curtain airbags for the

01:01first and second rows. Forward collision warning and advanced cruise control with

01:05stop-and-go capability are now standard on the Sport S trim and above. With a max

01:10towing capacity of 7,700 pounds and a best-in-class payload of 1,725 pounds,

01:16the Gladiator is ready for any adventure. Tech-wise, the Gladiator gets a standard

01:2112.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. It also receives

01:26over-the-air update capability. Plus, the navigation system offers detailed guides

01:31for off-road trails. With its rugged capability and unique personality, the

01:362024 Jeep Gladiator successfully differentiates itself in the crowded

01:40pickup truck market.
