00:00There it is everybody, Yamaha's 2024 MT-09 SP naked bike. This is an up spec

00:06middleweight plus size naked bike from Yamaha Motor out of Japan. It

00:10complements Yamaha's existing MT lineup which includes the MT-03 and MT-07 twin

00:17cylinders, the MT-09 triple cylinder, and the big dog of them all, the MT-10 in

00:22line four. Now this motorcycle is new and improved for 2024. Let's begin with the

00:27engine. It's powered by an 890 cc CP3 engine. It's water-cooled, dual overhead

00:33camshafts, the 12 valve cylinder head. This engine is good for 107 horsepower at

00:37the business end of that M spec Bridgestone Batlax S23 rear tire. It also

00:43puts out upwards of 60 pound-feet of torque. It has a cable actuated wet

00:47slipper clutch and a six-speed transmission with an electronic

00:51quickshifter. This motorcycle drinks from a 3.7 gallon fuel tank and delivers

00:5738 miles per gallon. It rolls on cast aluminum 17-inch wheels. Up front

01:02suspension wise, we have a KYB inverted fork with full damping adjustment. We

01:07also have the super slick coating on the fork legs for less stiction and

01:12independent high and low speed compression damping. The suspension has

01:175.1 inches of travel. We also have these beautiful Brembo Stylemia 4 piston

01:22radial mount calipers that squeeze a pair of 298 millimeter rotors. Out back

01:27we have a fully adjustable Ohlins shock with remote hydraulic preload so you can

01:32raise and lower the rear end of the bike with this knob. You can also adjust

01:35damping tool-less style with these big chunky knobs. This motorcycle has a high

01:40end electronics package. We have combined adjustable engine power and throttle

01:45maps. We have slide control, traction control, and we have wheelie control, but

01:49Yamaha calls it lift control. You can also adjust engine brake on this

01:53motorcycle and you can manually disable rear ABS. This motorcycle also has a

01:59really beautiful color TFT display and a really nice chunky switch gear that make

02:05it easy to adjust all the settings. We also have a keyless style ignition so

02:11this motorcycle no longer uses a traditional key. Now with a full tank of

02:16gas, this bike weighs in at 428 pounds. It retails for $12,300, carries a one-year

02:24warranty, and is built in Japan. Well everyone, that's everything you need to
