00:00We are here on Al Khair Road, on one of the bridges within the development of Al Khair Road

00:07that's being developed under RTA. The bridge we are on is under preparation to open in the next

00:13day. We are in the last stages of opening. This bridge will serve the traffic coming from

00:19Maidan Interchange all the way toward Deira on Al Khair Road, as well as the traffic coming from

00:27Al Khair Road going toward Ras Al Khor Road. So we're talking about heavy traffic will serve and

00:33this bridge will solve the weaving issue and the traffic will be smooth and with no interaction

00:40in all directions. This bridge actually is one of the bridges that's being developed by RTA

00:46on Al Khair Road. Three bridges of them have been already opened to traffic,

00:51one by Za'abil, by Dubai Mall toward Bur Dubai, the bridge by Al Ghoz toward Bur Dubai as well,

01:00and the Hissa Interchange bridge which is serving by JVC area. This project will increase the

01:09capacity of the road to over 19,600 vehicles per hour and will improve the traffic in general on

01:17Al Khair Road by 30% after opening the whole of the bridges. The project has been executed

01:26in an ideal time. Three bridges have been completed within six months,

01:34only six months, and the bridge we are on today between Al Maidan and Ras Al Khor will be

01:41open tomorrow, only within just around nine months, and next week we'll have the last bridge that's

01:47going to be open which is between Latifa bin Hamdan Interchange and Maidan Interchange and that will

01:55complete the project with all the five main bridges. Al Khair Road is one of the

02:01major highways in Dubai that's serving over 1.5 million of Dubai population,

02:08over 300,000 vehicles use the road every day.
