The Brickworks taproom and brewery in Burgess Hill

James and Mike from The Brickworks celebrate 6 months in business, and talk about the brewery and taproom

00:00Hi there, so my name's James Harley. I am one of the owners of the Brickworks Taproom and Shop and North Garden Brewery.

00:09Yeah, my name's Mike Armory. I'm one of the brewers for Bestons and North Garden Breweries.

00:16So here we are in the brewery. So this is where Bestons and North Garden Brewery do all their beers.

00:22And as we said, this is located at the Brickworks Taproom and Shop in Burgess Hill on the Victoria Road Industrial Estate.

00:29So within the building here we've got our brewery, which you can see behind us here.

00:34We also have our taproom, where we have 14 different taps and beers, all produced here in-house.

00:41We also have some guest beers and ciders available as well.

00:45Lovely range of local produced spirits, locally supplied wines.

00:50We've got a really nice, comfortable area there.

00:54So welcome to everybody. Really come and enjoy the space and enjoy some locally produced craft beers.

01:00We're open Wednesdays through till Sundays. Our opening hours are available on the website.

01:07We've got a lovely little coffee bar as well, which is open from 8am till 2pm midweek and 10am till 2pm Saturdays and Sundays.

01:17So we have rotating food vans Fridays and Saturdays.

01:22We have a food van blackboard. The information is available on the website and on our social media, so Instagram and Facebook.

01:29And then we also do various events throughout the years, big ones towards the end of the month or on special occasions.

01:37And then we do ones throughout the month as well, like quizzes.

01:41We're going to start doing live music and open mic nights, retro games and board games nights.

01:49And we've also got a toads table, so we're looking to start a toads team. So if you fancy chances, we need your help really.
