Take a peek at some of the spooky sights and sounds happening across Leeds this Halloween, if you dare.

00:00Let's begin your Leeds Halloween 2024 guide with Lotherton Hall, who are inviting thrill-seekers

00:08to step into the pages of Twisted Fairy Tales, where happily ever afters don't exist.

00:14Aimed at 8 to 15 year olds, Once Upon a Nightmare is an immersive scare event. It runs between

00:20the 25th and 31st of October, with 30 minute slots running between 5 and 8.30pm. Lotherton's

00:26Pumpkin Patch trailer tours are also running until the 31st of October.

00:32Talking of pumpkins, there are a number of Leeds venues where you can pick your own,

00:36with pre-booking required for some venues. Horsforth Pick Your Own Pumpkins can be found

00:41on Kemp's Farm, and Burt's Barrow in Hillam is also home to hundreds of pumpkins waiting

00:46to be picked. There are a number of pumpkin festivals also taking place, including at

00:51Lineham Farm in aid of Leeds Children's Charity on Saturday the 26th of October, Swithin's

00:56Farm in Rothwell on numerous days, and Farmer Copley's in Pontefract.

01:02Kirkstall Abbey's Halloween Hunt takes place between the 26th of October and 3rd of November.

01:08The team are creating a family trail through the ruins to find creepy creatures, spooky

01:13statues and peculiar props, but it's not too scary and is suitable for all the family.

01:18Just across the road, Abbey House Museum are getting into the Halloween spirit with

01:22their Spooky Streets event, also running until the 3rd of November. You can expect spiders,

01:27witches, wolves, bats and skeletons pulling pints.

01:33For those of you 18 and over, Beaverworks in Hunslet will be hosting Cirque du Sole

01:38on the 31st of October. You can expect Halloween performers, confetti and CO2 jets, five rooms

01:44of music and funfair rides between 10pm and 5am. Meanwhile, on the 26th of October, The

01:50Wardrobe are hosting their Funky Love Halloween event, and there's a Halloween special at

01:55Habibi Leeds in Victoria Gate on the same night.
