00:00I was shocked. I saw, well, after seeing the video on the internet, it was very

00:07confusing because, you know, he had a nice, well, a very promising

00:14career for him, so I was pretty confused after what happened and what the

00:18information that was being told. Obviously, it's the media, so you don't

00:21know what is true or what isn't, but it was very shocking. I've heard

00:28people were very upset because they wanted One Direction to reunite and

00:33everything back again. So, obviously, without Liam, it's not really

00:37going to be the same. So, yeah, it was very shocked. I was very shocked

00:41because, you know, I was just chilling there in the nap, just watching some TV

00:45and getting notification of one of my friends saying he's passed away. So,

00:49it's very shocking, very confusing. I hope wherever he is now, he's nice and

00:56safe and he's in a better place. Yeah, so if you just don't mind saying your

01:01general reactions to hearing the tragic news. I'm gutted. I'm absolutely gutted.

01:04All the girls in work are gutted. Just, like, I think, like, ten-year-old me

01:08would be heartbroken. She's screaming, crying. She's upset. Of course, yeah.

01:13I mean, like, it was absolutely horrible, the circumstances around it as well.

01:16Yeah. Oh, my God. Like, how does that even happen? Like, shocked. I thought it was

01:20fake news, honestly. Yeah, yeah. Well, that's the thing. You don't know these

01:22days with certain media outlets, do you? I saw it on TikTok and I was like,

01:26and then I Googled it and it was all coming up and I was like, oh, my God.

01:29I think what makes it worse, though, is obviously everybody was hoping for,

01:31like, a reunion, weren't they? Yeah, I was waiting for a 1D reunion,

01:35but apparently not. It's sad, but hopefully, I mean, like, have you seen some of the tributes

01:39that are coming out from his family and friends? Yeah, they seem really nice. Like,

01:42the one that, I think it was Harry Styles' mum put out. Yeah, yeah. It was really nice.

01:45Yeah. I mean, like, we've had his, I think we've had some people who told him,

01:49obviously, Beverly Knight's come out as well, big Wolverhampton legend. Yeah.

01:51She's come out as well and it's just, like, it is nice. It's tragic, though,

01:54but it is, it's nice to know that he was so loved. Yeah, and such, like, a member of the community

01:59and really, like, well liked as well. Absolutely. But gutted. Absolutely gutted.

02:04It was just shocking. I just thought, I literally couldn't believe it. I think when it's so close

02:08to home as well, it really just hits hard. So, yeah. Yeah, well, he's a Wolverhampton icon,

02:14wasn't he? He was born here. Yeah, exactly. Obviously, it's got to have affected a lot

02:18of people around here and then, obviously, there's a whole generation of young people who,

02:21you know, One Direction is a favourite band. Yeah, exactly. And I'm only 30,

02:25so very similar in age as well. It's just, it is mad. Well, like I was saying to your colleague,

02:30I think what makes it worth it is, obviously, a lot of people were hoping for a reunion,

02:33weren't they? I know, yeah. Like a One Direction, One Direction, One Direction reunion.

02:36Yeah, I know. Hopefully, like, a little bit of a tribute when they get back together would be

02:39really nice. Absolutely, yeah. Have you heard some of the comments that are coming out from

02:42the, from his, from his, like, fans? I haven't, actually, no. Yeah, they're absolutely lovely.

02:46Like, I think his mum came out and said some nice words. Yeah. Beverly Knight, who's another

02:49Wargrams and everything came out. Yeah, yeah. Well, it's tragic, but it's nice to know that

02:53it was so... It's a lot of love. Yeah, it's a lot of love. Yeah, definitely.

02:56Well, I was so shocked when you first saw it then. Yes, very shocked, very shocked, sad.
