A dog had a lucky escape when its harness unexpectedly gave way after its leash became caught in lift doors.
The dog's owner, who wasn't named, was looking away when his pooch - a border collie - entered the lift they were waiting for in Shijiazhuang, China (Oct 14).
In a terrifying incident, the dog's leash became trapped in the doors as the lift began to descend, lifting the helpless dog into the air.
But in a stroke of luck, the harness gave way, causing the dog to fall to the lift floor - narrowly escaping death.
