00:00We will start in the game in Blacksburg, Virginia Tech at home, catching six and a half points

00:09against Clemson. We mentioned that Clemson has won six straight in the series. Last time

00:14they played was back in 2020. You're talking about a Virginia Tech team that started very

00:19fast at Syracuse last week, built a 21-3 first half lead coach, and then allowed it

00:25to slip back up. Colin Schley played well. Clemson is going to need this matchup. Early

00:31on, I leaned to the Tigers and the under in this ballgame.

00:34Yeah, it's funny. I've had a different opinion of Clemson after I watched them play Louisville.

00:40And I did not see them come back or explode or something they could do to make themselves

00:46better in the second half. I saw a Clemson team that can be beat. And Virginia Tech,

00:50it really has been a very solid football team. And this is one that could make this game

00:55very close. I know they're underdogs, but I just, I don't see Clemson right now in what

00:59I was, I was seeing them move ahead in the schedule, get better every week. But I don't

01:04see them right now where I would think they should be going into Virginia Tech game.

01:09Yeah. The biggest thing for me, and if you watch that Syracuse game, starting quarterback

01:14Kyron Jones and the starting running back Tootin were late scratches for Va Tech. They

01:20went with Colin Schley, a backup quarterback from UCLA played very well, 206 yards through

01:25the air, did throw a touchdown pass, built that 18 point first half lead. And then all

01:31of a sudden Kyle McCord and Syracuse got hat. They ran a little bit of uptempo and challenged

01:36that defense over the top. You would think that Clemson should be able to have success

01:40with paid club Nick in this ballgame, but they are on the road, right? They're not at

01:45home. How important is that when you lose a game, especially prime time under the lights

01:50to a team that you dominated eight straight times in Louisville to then go back on the

01:55road and a very difficult environment in terms of Blacksburg. This is not going to be easy

02:00for Clemson to pull this ball game out.

02:03No, I think Virginia Tech is, if they've got a great atmosphere, their home games are a

02:07great atmosphere. They'll be tough to beat at home. And again, like I said, they are,

02:12they are a very good football team that doesn't have a great record. They're not one we're

02:17talking about with the ACC championship. I think Clemson, on the other hand, as a team

02:21that has been talked about, it has played better each week, but really doesn't seem

02:26to be like those four or five top teams in the country. They seem to be a little bit

02:30less Virginia Tech going to be a hard team to beat at home.

02:34Yeah. K Club Nick is averaging well over 200 passing yards per game. Clemson averaging

02:41282 yards through the air. Club Nick has completed over 64% of his passes, 21 touchdowns,

02:48three interceptions. On the flip side, you have a Virginia Tech secondary giving up 201

02:54passing yards to opposing offenses, but holding opposing quarterbacks to only 55% completion

03:00percentage. That'll be the matchup along with the availability of starting quarterback Kyron

03:05Jones in that offense.

03:07So we'll see how it plays out. Coach does say potentially an upset on the horizon. Virginia

03:12Tech might be live. I still lean to Virginia Clemson on the road in this ballgame.
