00:00It's been five months and three days since my son, his classmates, and his teachers were murdered.

00:04That's 156 days, 3,741 hours, 224,497 minutes, 12,469,820 seconds.

00:15While these numbers regularly change, several numbers remain the same.

00:19It was 77 minutes that 91 of y'all's officers waited outside while our children were slaughtered.

00:25One of your officers has been fired. One.

00:30Cross, among others, is calling for the resignation of the top law enforcement

00:34official in Texas, Colonel Steven McCraw, who leads the state's Department of Public Safety.

00:40Per Mr. McCraw's own words, and I quote verbatim,

00:43hey, I'll be the first to resign, okay? I'll be gladly resigned. I will tender my

00:48resignation to the governor, okay? If I think there is any culpability with the

00:52Department of Public Safety, okay? Well, Steve, the time is now.

00:57If you're a man of your word, you'll resign.

00:59At the same hearing, McCraw maintained that the DPS, quote, did not fail the community.
