02:07Can we normalize taking a break after a relationship

02:11so that we can heal the wounds that were created by our choices

02:14and the choices of others that hurt us?

02:16Stop thinking that everybody like feel like a relationship is the end all be all

02:21because it ain't.

02:22It's a whole lot more to life than relationships, marriages, and having newborns.

02:25It really is.

02:26And the quicker that y'all see that, the less y'all put people in this box

02:30because they choose to be single.

02:35when we say we want to be single and we're choosing to be single?

02:39It's absolutely a choice.

02:41Our value systems are different.

02:43Just because you value your proximity to another person doesn't mean I have to.

02:48I value my freedom, my space, and my peace.

02:51When I tell people that I'm looking for fun with a man, I don't know.

02:55They don't really care because I enjoy my own company.

02:57I have my own house.

02:58I'm really enjoying my time.

03:00They're just like, oh, you'll change your mind or you'll find someone.

03:03I can find people.

03:05I'm good.

03:06I'm fine.

03:08I just don't want someone in my space.

03:11I don't want someone bothering me.

03:13Is that not reasonable?
