00:00I always thought that this would be my last contract at the Sydney Swans.

00:06I was thinking that the end of next year was probably, if I could get through to that point,

00:10it would be a good time to get through to that. Whilst my head was trying to talk myself in to

00:17keep going to the end of next year, my gut was saying that's about enough. It's time to rest,

00:25time to reflect on what I've been a part of to this point in time and time to re-energise.

00:32I could not but thinking as we sit in this magnificent facility

00:37and once again the record crowds, record membership,

00:41I thought if I'm going to do it, now's the time to do it.
