A motorcyclist was crushed by a fallen barrier which was knocked down by a lorry near the Dato Onn roundabout on Wednesday (Nov 27) night, but he survived the accident. 00:06Dato'on Roundabout Road in Kuala Lumpur.

00:10The barrier then fell onto a motorcyclist during the accident that happened near Dataran

00:15Merdeka and Bank Negara on Wednesday night.

00:26Upon seeing the unfortunate incident, members of the public came to the victim's rescue.

00:32They attended to the victim and contacted the emergency services for help.

00:37The City Fire and Rescue Department said they received the distress call at about 11.22

00:42pm and seven personnel were dispatched to the scene.

00:47The personnel managed to free the victim who suffered a broken hand.

00:51The victim was handed over to the paramedics and given medical treatment.
