Victorians reminded to stay vigilant this bushfire season

00:01Today being the first day of summer is a great opportunity

00:03to remind everybody about the dangers of bushfire.

00:07Remember, we do live in a very bushfire-prone part of the world.

00:10And just because you might live in a build-up or an urban area

00:12doesn't mean you won't be impacted by bushfires.

00:15So, please, make sure you have a plan.

00:18Make sure you discuss that plan with your family

00:20before the fire starts, not on the day the fire starts.

00:22And if you happen to be travelling around this great state of Victoria

00:25over the summer, make sure you know what the conditions are going to be like

00:28to where you're travelling.

00:29And to all our firefighters out there, thank you for the hard work you do.
