00:00Let's make jarred pasta sauce taste even better. Get a skillet and get it ripping hot. Heat your

00:04sauce about two, three minutes. These bubbles are telling me it's time to add our flavor.

00:08Chopped garlic, a little crushed red pepper, herbs, parmesan, even a little parmesan rind.

00:14Add whatever makes you happy. The secret to good sauce is adding in a little bit of your pasta

00:20water and ladling in a little bit at a time helps it really incorporate. I usually stop at about a

00:25cup depending on how much I'm making. Those starches from your pasta are going to release

00:29into your pasta water. Last step here is you want to add your pasta just as it's finished cooking

00:33so that it can finish cooking in the sauce. Adding that pasta water into the sauce helps it then

00:39stick to your pasta even better and become like a whole other animal. Our sauce is coating that

00:44pasta perfectly and this only took a few extra minutes and now you have restaurant ready pasta.
