Happy Wednesday to all of us. I am Benison Estareja.
00:05
Three different weather systems are still in effect in our country.
00:10
First is the Northeast Monsoon or Hanging Amiha that is still warming.
00:14
Here in the northern part of Luzon, the cold temperature is still increasing.
00:19
The hot wind from the east, also known as the eastern east,
00:23
is affecting the vast majority of Visayas and Mindanao,
00:26
and it is also causing rain in the eastern sections.
00:28
And the third is the shear line.
00:31
This is the line where the cold wind and the hot eastern east meet.
00:37
And when this hot and cold wind is combined,
00:40
it can cause flooding and rain.
00:42
We can see here in our latest satellite animation,
00:45
the rain continues in some areas of central and southern Luzon.
00:49
And still based on our latest satellite animation,
00:52
we do not see any storms entering our Philippine area of responsibility until the weekend.
00:59
It will still rain in many areas of Luzon because it is still the Northeast Monsoon.
01:04
That is one of the Amiha.
01:06
And what will bring mild to moderate rain is still here in the areas of Cagayan Valley
01:11
and some parts of the Cordillera Administrative Region,
01:14
such as Calinga, Apayao, Mountain Province, and Ifugao.
01:18
So be careful of floods and landslides,
01:21
especially in the areas of Cordillera and Caraballo Mountain Ranges.
01:25
Meanwhile, here in some parts of the Cordillera Region,
01:30
Benguet, Abra, Ilocos Region,
01:32
and this left part of Central Luzon,
01:34
Cabina ng Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, and Tarlac,
01:38
the sky is partly cloudy until the sky is cloudy.
01:40
And it is still accompanied by mild to moderate rain effects of the Northeast Monsoon.
01:46
To our fellowmen here in this part of Central Luzon,
01:49
it is still expected that there will be heavy rains due to the shear line
01:53
or the heat and cold winds,
01:56
including Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, and Metro Manila.
02:01
A large part of Calabarzon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur,
02:05
and the province of Catanduanes.
02:07
So make sure that you have an umbrella if you are going out of your house.
02:11
It is possible that there will be more or less 100 mm of rain
02:14
that is moderate to heavy or intense rains at times
02:18
in Quezon, Aurora, and Camarines Norte
02:21
while we have moderate to heavy rains in the other places we mentioned
02:25
even though be careful of flooding and landslides.
02:29
In the remaining part of Luzon,
02:31
including Mimaropa and the remaining part of Bicol Region,
02:35
the sky is partly cloudy until the sky is still cloudy.
02:37
And it is accompanied by mild to moderate rain effects or heat and cold winds.
02:40
And if you sleep, there is a high chance that it will last until the evening.
02:44
In Metro Manila, the temperature is from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:48
And due to the influence of the flood,
02:50
our temperatures are also decreasing gradually
02:53
in a large part of the Northern and Central Luzon
02:55
and in Baguio from 17 to 24 degrees Celsius.
02:59
Our countrymen should also bring an umbrella
03:02
to the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao
03:05
because it will still be affected by the easterlies or the wind from the east.
03:08
Eastern Samar, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur
03:13
have high chances of rain.
03:15
Be careful of flooding and landslides.
03:18
The remaining part of Visayas plus the Palawan region
03:22
is partly cloudy until the sky is still cloudy in the morning.
03:25
But the rain will also be expected
03:27
when it reaches the evening until the night,
03:29
especially in the southern portions of Visayas.
03:31
These are the areas of Southern Leyte up to Bohol,
03:35
Southern Cebuat,
03:36
and the eastern part of Negros Island region.
03:40
These are the areas affected by the Volcano Canlaon.
03:44
We can expect rain there.
03:46
While in the remaining part of Mindanao,
03:48
it is partly cloudy until the sun is still shining in the morning.
03:51
But there are also areas where the rain and thunderstorms
03:55
will reach the evening until the night.
03:57
These are the remaining parts of the Caraga region
04:00
and Davao region.
04:02
These are the southern portions of Basilan, Sulu-Tawitawi
04:04
and the southern portions of Soksatjen.
04:07
The temperature in Palawan is still possible
04:10
to be a bit hot up to 32°C.
04:13
In a large part of Visayas,
04:15
it is from 26°C to 31°C.
04:18
While here in Mindanao, it is from 25°C.
04:21
But it is still the hottest in Zamboanga City and Cotabato
04:24
up to 34°C.
04:27
For our fellow Filipinos,
04:29
we do not have a high-level gale warning
04:31
because the winds are not that strong for now.
04:34
But our waves here in the big town of Luzon
04:38
plus the eastern seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao
04:41
are a bit wavy up to 3.4 meters
04:44
or in a part of the house of waves
04:46
in a large part of the Caragatan.
04:48
So be careful.
04:50
It is still possible for our small seavessles to be affected.
04:52
The waves will be dangerous.
04:54
But here in the remaining towns of Visayas and Mindanao,
04:56
the waves are moderate to moderate.
05:00
And for our T-Day weather forecast,
05:02
the effects of different weather systems are still there.
05:05
Northeast monsoon here in Northern Luzon
05:08
is still shearline in Central and Southern Luzon.
05:11
While in the remaining parts of the country,
05:13
here in Visayas and Mindanao,
05:15
sometimes it is easterly and there are times
05:17
when the Intertropical Convergence Zone is still active
05:20
or the wind waves from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
05:23
In Northern Luzon, from Thursday to Saturday,
05:26
the cold weather is expected
05:28
and it will be accompanied by mild to moderate rain
05:30
in the Cagayan Valley
05:32
and a large part of the Cordillera Administrative Region.
05:35
It will only be dry rain in the Ilocos Region
05:38
and the left part of Central Luzon.
05:40
For our townspeople in Aurora,
05:42
it is still there in our Quezon
05:44
and some parts of Camarines Norte, Laguna, Rizal,
05:47
Aurora, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija,
05:50
there will still be scattered rains
05:52
and at some point, until Thursday,
05:54
it will be affected by the shearline
05:56
or the waves of Amihan and Easterly.
05:58
So make sure that we have an umbrella
06:00
and still be careful of flood and landslides.
06:03
And finally, here in the eastern sides of our country,
06:06
in Visayas and Mindanao,
06:08
as part of the Eastern Visayas,
06:10
Caraga and Davao Region,
06:12
there are scattered rains.
06:14
Our rains are more frequent in those areas
06:16
and in this part of Visayas and Mindanao,
06:18
the rains will also be frequent
06:20
from the afternoon to the evening,
06:22
from Thursday to Saturday.
06:24
That is the effect of Easterly
06:26
plus the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
06:27
This is a very important part
06:29
of our rainfall advisories
06:31
and even heavy rainfall warnings
06:33
in a large part of our country.
06:35
Our sunrise is at 6.11 in the morning
06:37
and the sunset is at 5.28 in the afternoon.
06:39
That is the latest from
06:41
the Weather Forecasting Center of Pagasa.
06:43
I am again, Benison S. Tareja
06:45
saying, anytime,
06:47
hope for a good solution.
