00:00I mean obviously a big thing for Sunder is going to be the Crown Works film studio development,

00:05I mean stuff I've read could create 8,000 jobs and bring in £2 billion worth into the

00:09economy. So as a government, both politically and financially, because I know it does need

00:14some public funding, just how determined are you to ensure that this scheme does go ahead?

00:18Well even in difficult financial circumstances, and those are the circumstances I inherited

00:23when I became Chancellor in July, we invested £25 million at the budget in October in the

00:29Crown Works studios, working with the private sector to deliver that project. Part of the

00:36reason for doing that is talking to MPs like Lewis about the impact that investment could

00:41have, but also the huge potential in the film industry, but also in post-production here

00:47in Sunderland. And we know we've got the skills and the talents here in Sunderland, and this

00:51is about government backing local people, local industries.
