00:062025 national budget.

00:08According to Presidential Communications Acting Secretary Cesar Chavez, the ceremonial signing

00:14of the General Appropriations Bill will take place on Monday after the chief executives

00:19expected attendance of activities related to Rizal Day.

00:24Yesterday, the president met with the economic team of the government to review the proposed

00:292025 budget worth 6.3 trillion pesos.

00:34This is just one of a series of meetings convened by the chief executive to review

00:39the budget.

00:40The president previously stated that he needed more time to review the proposed national

00:45fund due to numerous changes made by the Congress.

00:49He emphasized that he wants to ensure the budget is focused on the government's priority

00:55projects.
