00:11could lead to structural failures. The government is reportedly concerned about thousands of
00:16system-built school structures which could pose as a safety risk, particularly after
00:20the findings of reinforced auto-claved aerated concrete, also known as RAC, prompted some
00:26schools in the UK to close. A report by the National Audit Office in 2023 identified that
00:333,600 system-built school blocks may be more susceptible to deterioration. After months
00:40of delays, it's been reported that contractors have finally been appointed to investigate
00:44the buildings.
