What should the government do in 2025?

With the start of a new year, comes new opportunities for the Welsh and UK Governments to help make change around the country, so we’re asking people in Cardiff what they’d like to see happen this year.

00:00I think there needs to be a bigger influx into mental and physical health

00:05within the actual NHS,

00:07specifically for the transgender community and the LGBTQIA community.

00:12We have a lot on our hands right now.

00:14I don't have a lot of opinions about stuff like that.

00:18But I think we need to get back on track,

00:20especially now that we have a Labour government.

00:22I mean, the electricity go up, they put the price up.

00:26Now the electricity going down, the price is not down on the electricity.

00:30They make lots and lots of way more money,

00:33and nobody knows where this money go.

00:35And they don't do nothing about this.

00:37So it's not fair for business.

00:39The wait time for gender health is so long within this community.

00:44And I feel like more research and just support in general

00:47in that direction would be a great benefit for everyone in Cardiff,

00:50because there's so many young people and older people as well

00:54who are waiting for support, but they'll just continue to wait

00:57unless the finance actually goes towards it.
