00:03serve as an example for Republicans. I mean, clearly he was recalling what

00:08happened four years earlier. I mean, do you think in that respect the Democrats succeeded?

00:12Well, I certainly think that they comported themselves well, not a single one of them.

00:17Certainly there's no violence. And that is, that's the starting point, I guess,

00:22when you talk about January 6th from 2021 forward, there was absolutely no violence.

00:26There's no threat of violence. There was no call to violence. So that in and of itself is a

00:31dramatic improvement over 2021. When it comes to actual procedures on the floor, look, the Democrats

00:38didn't object. I appreciate that. Everybody did. It was the first time since George Herbert Walker

00:45Bush in 1988 that no Democrats had objected to the outcome of an election. And as I mentioned,

00:52the laws had changed regarding the certification process. So we didn't really expect anything

00:58different from the certification process. So I would give the Democrats credit. Yes,

01:04there's no violence. There's no threat of violence. There's no election denials.

01:06Those are all good things. But when you take a look at what happened in the House yesterday,

01:10to take credit for simply doing what they did, it seems a little bit over the top.
