Cowboys legend Nate Newton joined Shan, RJ and Bobby to discuss Deion Sanders and the Cowboys interest in him as head coach, his relationship with Coach Prime and if he thinks he'll take the job, who he wants to see coach the Cowboys next, and more.

00:00We need your perspective on all this Deion Sanders talk.

00:19What do you think of the idea of him coaching the Cowboys?

00:21Well, you know, the other day I was at his crib a couple of days ago and we always go

00:27on this mile and a half, two mile walk.

00:29So as soon as I get there, I know, I know the big, the big fella got to go walking.

00:33So I'm like, wow.

00:34I'm hydrated up.

00:35So I won't faint.

00:36So we take off walking.

00:38We don't get, we don't get five feet into this walk and he go to talking about Colorado.

00:45I'm just, I'm waiting, you know, just 10, 15 to 20 minute walk.

00:49So I'm waiting for a break and said, well, what about the Cowboys?

00:52He never gave me that opportunity.

00:54It was Colorado, this Colorado that, oh, I'm trying to work out something with them.

00:58You know, I'm like, and I just looked at him like, wow, this dude ain't even thinking

01:02about the Cowboys.

01:04So when I talked to Chopper earlier, I'm like, it ain't much I can say.

01:08I can give you my perspective of what I think he would be as a head coach with the Cowboys

01:13and the differences from college.

01:15But other than that, I couldn't draw nothing about a Cowboy out of him.

01:20Maybe him and Mr. Jones have had a little talk and they want to keep it a secret or

01:25whatever.

01:26But with Deion, I mean, maybe if I threw a couple of grand out there, he would have spoken.

01:32Yeah, they ain't going to mess up no future money, you know that.

01:37Wait, I thought that was the Nate Newton way.

01:39What were you telling me about Nate?

01:41Oh, Nate said, Nate's got, he goes, I'm done talking football for free.
