It was heartbreak as usual in Multan.

This as the West Indies lost the opening Test to hosts Pakistan by 127 runs, with two days to spare.

Pakistan resumed their second innings on 109 for 3 and were all out for 157, with Jomel Warrican taking seven wickets.

Set 251 to win, the Windies were bundled out for 123, with the Pakistani spinners taking all 20 wickets in both innings combined.

00:03109 for three which was an overall lead of 202 runs and the Caribbean side
00:09struck first ball of the morning through left arm spinner Jamal Warrickon. He then
00:12got rid of the dangerous Mohamed Rizwan for two. Kamran Ghulam made a useful 27
00:19for the home side. Warrickon was the man to have him caught
00:26behind. He finished with impeccable figures of 7 for 32.
00:34He has been on a fantastic roll. He has been outstanding.
00:39Gudu Keshmoti took the last one as Pakistan were all out for 157. It meant
00:44West Indies had to chase 251 for victory. It was a tough target for the West Indies
00:49as Sajid Khan did the damage. One by one the batters were finding their way back
00:56to the pavilion. Half the side fell with 54 on the board. Alec Athenaeus was the
01:03only player who had something to offer.
01:08He would see wickets falling regularly at the other end.
01:15But Athenaeus was eventually led before for 55 giving Sajid Khan a fifer.
01:23Abrar Ahmed took the final wicket to end with four as West Indies capitulated for
01:28123. Pakistan won by 127 runs to lead the two-match series 1-0.
