01:07Survey firms are ordered to comply within 15 days

01:11The countdown starts next week when the order is published in newspapers

01:15Pollsters may continue ongoing surveys but they must register within the required period

01:20in order to continue operating

01:22The rule applies only during election and campaign periods

01:27Comelec Chairman George Garcia emphasizes the need to regulate surveys due to their

01:31influence on public opinion

01:33He also notes some surveys intentionally exclude certain candidates, undermining fairness

01:39The Okta Research Group's Guido David supports the measure, acknowledging Comelec's concern

01:44over fake surveys and disinformation

01:47However, David says he is concerned that the rule may be used to control information released

01:52to the public

01:53Malacanang says President Marcos has approved postponing the parliamentary election in the

02:00Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao

02:04Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin says Marcos signed Republic Act No. 12123, moving the

06:14Local outlet Infobase says the court dismisses charges against businessman Rogelio Nores,

06:19a friend of Payne who was said to have acted as his manager, and two hotel employees where

06:25The court also maintains the pre-trial detention of an employee from the same hotel and a waiter

06:32The two have been held since the start of last month, and both are accused of supplying

06:36cocaine to the late singer during his stay in Buenos Aires

06:40The two will face up to 15 years in prison if convicted
