01:00Here in Greenland we need to have some crowns.

01:30We need to have some economic growth and diversify our economy.

01:35And of course we welcome our strong partners, like-minded nations as first.

01:40But if they don't invest, there's a lot of companies who also want to invest in this country.

02:14Greenland is not for sale, of course, and I totally agree with Kim Kielsen's statement.

02:19Greenland is not Denmark, so it's not an investment for us, but of course Greenland is not for sale.

02:31Well, a lot of things could be done.

02:33Essentially it's a large real estate deal.

02:36A lot of things could be done.

02:38It's hurting Denmark very badly because they're losing almost $700 million a year carrying it.

02:44So they carry it at a great loss.

02:47And strategically for the United States it would be nice.

02:50And we're a big ally of Denmark, and we help Denmark, and we protect Denmark, and we will.

03:46We're a little pressed for time because we only have a couple hours of daylight, so we've got to see everything.

03:59I was supposed to be here last spring for some of the stuff I do in my free time.

04:06The scenery coming in was just spectacular.

04:16We need Greenland for national security purposes.

04:19I've been told that for a long time, long before I even ran.

04:23I mean, people have been talking about it for a long time.

04:25You have approximately 45,000 people there.

04:28People really don't even know if Denmark has any legal right to it.

04:33But if they do, they should give it up because we need it for national security.

04:37That's for the free world.

04:38I'm talking about protecting the free world.

04:55No, no, it doesn't work in Denmark.

05:03I think he's talking too loud.

05:09His point is that you can't expect to be taken over by force.

05:19That's what I think.

05:26It's a new time that Greenland is on its way to.

05:29And a new year where Greenland has been the center of the whole world.

05:34The people of Greenland are one people no matter where they live.

05:39And as a people, in the time we are in, we need to be united to be ready for a new future that our country is on its way to.

05:52We shouldn't be bought by anyone because Greenland is not for sale.

05:56And Greenland will not be for sale.

05:58But we can have a closer collaboration on business development with the U.S.

06:10I think we have been very clear from the Kingdom of Denmark

06:14with the great support from the European partners and the European Union

06:19that everybody has to respect the sovereignty of all national states in the world

06:27and that Greenland is today a part of the Kingdom of Denmark.

06:31It's a part of our territory.

06:33And it's not for sale.

06:36The chairman, the leader of Greenland has been very clear that they are not for sale.

06:46Great job.

06:50And I also have a message tonight for the incredible people of Greenland.

06:56We strongly support your right to determine your own future.

07:00And if you choose, we welcome you into the United States of America.

07:04We need Greenland for national security and even international security.

07:09And we're working with everybody involved to try and get it.

07:13But we need it really for international world security.

07:17And I think we're going to get it.

07:19One way or the other we're going to get it.

07:23This basically means that Danish foreign policy is locked under the ice cap in Greenland.

07:28And it's very tough times because we have all this going around with Ukraine,

07:33what's happening between Europe and the United States.

07:37And you will hear our Prime Minister, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen,

07:40she will speak in a much softer tone than she probably would like to do.
