01:06It's a society in which you don't have a handful of giant banks and corporations

01:10controlling the economic and political life of the nation.

01:13Maybe we should be protecting elderly people who have lost their life savings in a declining stock market.

01:29Maybe we should be protecting the millions of American workers who have seen their jobs go to China and Mexico.

01:35Maybe we should be talking about the fact that our health care system is collapsing and insurance rates are going up.

01:42Not only will I fight to protect the working families of this country,

01:57but we are going to build a movement of millions of Americans who are prepared to stand up and fight back.

02:05We were told that Medicare for All, a $15 an hour minimum wage, free tuition at public colleges and universities,

02:22aggressively combating climate change, demanding that the wealthy start paying their fair share of taxes.

02:29We were told that all of these concepts were ideas that the American people would never accept.

02:36Well, three years have come and gone, and as a result of millions of Americans standing up and fighting back,

02:46all of these policies and more are now supported by a majority of Americans.
